Hey guys,
firstly, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I can’t believe how quickly 2009 has gone by, especially the last few months. Mind you, the wait for all 3 brand new Jun Senoue / Crush40 related CD’s helped! I want to say a special thank you to everyone who ordered at least one of the CD’s, it’s you guys who help make sure there’s more. I’m certainly looking forward to the next batch! To anyone who is still wanting one, we still have personalised copies of both ‘True Colors’ and ‘The Best of Crush40′ in the official JunSenoue.com shop (See here for details).
So what does 2010 hold? So far, a lot. The Official Crush40 website will be online the 1st quarter, and Jun’s currently working on several projects that have yet to be announced. I have a few more plans for the shop also, and I have a very good feeling about this year! Anyone who hasn’t joined the forums so probably do so, as news is updated there before it hits the main page! If you hang around long enough, you’ll become a ‘JS.com Forums Exclusive Member’ and starting from January 1st, have first pick at all future CD’s and Merchandise. So what are you waiting for? Join here!
Last but not least, I want to thank Jun for giving us all this amazing opportunity to own a personalised CD, including all the little extras and the late night trips to the local Post Office to make sure we got them as soon as possible! I also want to thank each and every fan who read and contribute to JunSenoue.com, along with everyone on the FaceBook / MySpace / YouTube pages for the continual support. I also couldn’t have managed without the support from Benji, Pamela and Shane who make sure the forums are fun, informative and safe, every day!

For details on how to order you own copy, please visit the forums here! Each copy is $30 and we accept PayPal only. Shipping price is dependent on your country, but you will see the total price before paying!
Once you have pressed the ‘Pay Now” button in PayPal, you must press ‘Return to Merchant’ otherwise your order will not be recieved!

Just a quick update to let everyone who ordered a copy and requested that it be sent “ASAP,” they’ve all been shipped and are on their way to you! For anyone who missed ordering a copy, Jun has mentioned there could be a few more up for grabs soon. I will update everyone here when I know an exact figure!
Regarding “The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs;” The pre-order will commence on Sunday (subject to change)! Saturday for JS.com Forum Exclusive Members. Anyone who requested their copy of “The Works” to be posted when they order “Super Sonic Songs” will obviously get first pick and I will contact them later this week. I’ve asked everyone in this position to email me at sales@junsenoue.com, so if you haven’t done so already, please do!

The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs (Preview)

Hey guys,
I’m pleased to announce that the preview track for ‘The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs’ will be available to listen to on The Official Crush 40 Website on Friday at 00:01am (GMT) on the 30th of October AVAILABLE NOW! A full 3 days before it’s available on the Official Crush 40 MySpace page, and the Official YouTube channel (November 1st). The four and a half minute mp3 contains clips from every track on the CD, along with the brand new unreleased tracks, “Is It You,” “Un-Gravitify” and The Cult cover “Fire Woman.”
As with ‘Jun Senoue – The Works,” we plan to sell signed copies of the CD here in the Official JunSenoue.com shop. Details on how to order will come shortly. Anyone who bought ‘The Works’ and specified it to be sent alongside ‘The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs’ should contact me at sales@junsenoue.com so I have a list of who needs discounted shipping.
There are still a few signed copies of ‘Jun Senoue – The Works’ available. See the post below this for details on how to order your copy, which will be personalised and posted by Jun Senoue himself! To those that have already ordered, Jun has begun shipping your CD’s. Firstly, please make sure all your PayPal information is correct and up to date! Jun will go by the information in the JunSenoue.com Shop email, but will use the PayPal information if he has problems. Make sure all addresses are correct! Jun only accepts PayPal.
When you go to check-out your basket, there is an option to add notes at the bottom. In the notes please provide the following information;
1. How you want your CD personalised (with your name or without)
2. Do you want the CD posted “asap” or “post with Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs” (Specify one)
3. Contact e-mail address
Please number like above, and keep it short and simple. for example;
1. Please personalise my CD
2. Please post asap

If you have decided to post your CD alongside “Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs,” then there is a discount on shipping but you have to wait untill the release of this CD obviously.

Please put the information you put in the notes in the JunSenoue.com Shop as a backup so you can be sure Jun knows what you want in the event he doesn’t receive the shop order email. Super Sonic Songs / The Works

So today marks the official retail release of “Jun Senoue – The Works.” For anyone who is awaiting details of ordering directly from Jun, I have updated in the official thread in the forums.
Jun also sent me a few more details regarding some of the tracks from “The Best of Crush 40 – Super Sonic Songs…”
I re-recorded rhythm guitars on “Knight Of The Wind” since I didn’t like the ones on its long version.
I also wanted to replace my guitar on “Live Life” but I didn’t have enough time to track & mix that song in the studio.
“Fire Woman” is a cover song. Original one was performed by The Cult and it appeared on the album called “Sonic Temple”.
“Is It You” is a brand new song, we did this song last month, Sep.2009.
Anyone who guessed “Fire Woman” was indeed a cover by “The Cult,” well done! Anyone wanting to see the original can watch the official music video on YouTube
…and that’s about it for now! The only other thing I feel I should mention is that Jun has been working round the clock on these CD’s, literally 9am until 12am. I’m sure we can all agree it’s paid off though!
