Kazaly : The Show/Concert ReportDisclaimer: I am no reporter here, so it will not be the best.
That said, a few things in mind. These were taken off my phone, they may not be the best in quality at times. Going to apologize for that. Secondly, I had to work with the stage lights as well, I did try my best here. I may let the pictures speak for themselves; won’t comment on them.
Here we go!

I don’t need to explain this, do I?

I wanted a picture of the sign before anything else, I actually got there around 3pm my time just to get that. Four hours early, but it was fine as I had gone off elsewhere until they started letting people in.

It’s kind of hard to see in this shot, but there is a disco ball almost in the center of the room. The show was held inside, could hold about fifty people.

Most of the pictures that I did get of the first two bands came out far too dark, but this one came out fine. She had a megaphone and used it, thought my hearing had went from it. She actually did come to stand in front of me and let me slide her hand across hers.
Where I was at the time, I was stage front on the left side. The guitarists kept coming close enough to where I could have touched their guitar strings. I did see one of them let someone from the first group let a fan touch their guitar. It amazes me that they weren’t afraid to get up close and personal with the crowd like that.
There were no guards either, I know that state-side there are usually security guards in front of the stage, but here no. Everyone is respectable and comfortable with each other, fan or up on stage. I’m just surprised to have seen them stand so close to the edge of the stage to where people could have touched them, but they didn’t.
I had to laugh when I glanced over to see two guys attempting to get a mosh-pit going, jumping up and down.
The first group was called
Four Chamber View, second group was called
Screaming Lovehole.
Between the three bands that played, there was a fifteen minute break between the first two bands. Some of the band members from the first group were walking out into the crowd with clipboards, having people fill out a form. If I had to guess, what the fans thought of their segment of the show. This was during the fifteen minute break before the second group came on.
The picture above is from the second group and I did make a note to check them out later.
Moving on!

I don’t know how I got this, to be honest. My phone takes a bit to snap the picture so the timing is incredible to have caught Jun singing. I did not know he sang.
Out of respect for Jun and his friends, I won’t say their names. But a friend of his did find me and got me to stand center stage this time. I had woken up to an email from Jun alerting me that a friend of his may be around and might look for me during the show. His friend found me. His friends were telling me to take off my leather jacket to let Jun see my Sonic shirt, but I decided against it, purely to let Jun focus on the show. Out of respect for him as well. More on that later though!
Despite being center stage this time, I had two people in front of me, so one could say I was in the ‘second row.’ The pictures show that too.

This is kind of what I mean by the stage lighting and the band members tend to move around a lot as well.
Someone asked me if the songs they did were the demos, to be honest, I can’t answer that question. I haven’t heard the songs enough to pick up on them right away, but I would image that they did for the first set of songs. This is Kazaly after all.

This would be either my first or second favorite picture that I did manage to get of Jun. What I was trying to do during the hour and a half that they were up on stage, was try to catch Jun doing random and different things. Example, see the first picture of him.

I did keep trying to get shots of the other band members, even if the focus was Jun. I still manage to catch him in the background in this shot.

Not only did I have to work with stage lights, but with the crowd as well. I apologize for that.

What’s going on here… acoustic session.
Before they started playing, they were talking about Crush 40 and Sonic, which surprised me to be honest. I was not expecting anything related to either or in the show. I assumed that they were talking about Jun’s work with Sega, but I was wrong.
This was taken during ‘Sonic Heroes’, acoustic version of it no less! It was incredible to have heard that.

Not only was it an acoustic version, but this guy provided the vocals in English.

This was the best I could get of Jun while he was back there.
Not only did they do ‘Sonic Heroes’, but almost right that? ‘Believe in Myself’, Tails’ theme was done an acoustic version as well. Both songs were incredible to have heard.

And we’re back to rocking out.

I think it was a ‘guitar war’ here. You know, joking around kind of thing.

I really, really like the way how this picture came out.

After a couple of fail shots, I manage to catch Jun singing again! I did not know he did that and I don’t know why it surprises me so much. Most likely after hearing that he had nothing to do with the song writing for Crush 40. Still, it was awesome to watch him do that.

Now, here’s where the stage lighting is a problem, almost cut off Jun’s face in this shot. This is the second third guitar he’s used (counting the acoustic one) so far. Not only that, he did disappear back stage for a few minutes for a costume change.
Starting with that, he was calling people back out on stage from the first two groups.

I apologize for the blurriness to this picture.

I did try snagging pictures of the other band members.

And another guitar change.

The stage lights are a problem for my camera phone, I haven’t figured out the settings on it yet. So yes, apologies for this shot.

What happened here, was Jun and the other person were outside of the curtain, speaking to the crowd. Intermission, so to speak, while the other band members got set up behind the curtain. Surprise guest, I think.
They were talking for quite the while, maybe around fifteen minutes and cracking the crowd up.
It was also at this point that I did notice that my phone was starting to die out. So I did have to watch my batteries from this point on.
In this shot, Jun’s heading back stage, letting someone else come out.

I’m pretty sure that this was his last guitar change.

This was the surprise guest, I don’t know who that is, but looking at my ticket (Blindman) and Shoyo(Ba.The Powernude) were the guests here.
They were covering songs. I heard Bon Jovi’s name get mentioned and I think they did cover one of his songs. I’m not too familiar with Bon Jovi’s work to know the name, but the guy sang it in Japanese. I could be very wrong about them covering a Bon Jovi song, but I definitely heard his name get mentioned here.

During this shot, they were definitely covering Twistered Sister’s
We’re Not Gonna Take It. I had to sing along with it, it was incredible.

The last two shots of Jun are of him just rocking out, head banging. I could not help but laugh at him though.

Perfect way to end this show and the pictures.. The on stage portion anyway!
One of Jun’s friends asked me to stick around for a bit.
Well…

I met him. Got to shake his hand.
(Please don’t mind my red eyes.)
Jun is incredible.
His friend asked me to stick around so I could meet him. His friend made a motion of their hand for me to go stand beside him too and this is how this picture came to be.
What overwhelmed me? Jun told me that ‘Sonic Heroes’ was done for my sake, knowing that I would be there. I couldn’t believe that, but it was just awesome to know that he thought of me and did the song for my sake. It really is appreciated.
I don’t know how to end this ‘report’, but I had an awesome time. It started at 7pm here, ended at 10pm.
