Re:Sonic OST's Here - 2008/05/04 18:50 Good advice. Also if you're unsure always check out http://www.chudahs-corner.com - ask the person for the catalogue number. If it matches, then it's legit

Tetris: I see your point to a degree. The example you give is if you were to download the songs individually, but if you were to buy the album as a whole then it's no more then a regular CD. What would be $/£20 downloading each individual track will be $/£10 if downloaded as an album package.

Just for the note:

Amazon.jp restocked their store with some Sonic Adventure DigiLog Conversation and Sonic Heroes Complete Trinity Soundtracks.

The SA-OST is fairly popular (Rank #715), so grab the Original as long as they sell it.

Do not be fooled. They are bootlegs. As the soundtracks are OUT OF PRINT (Cannot emphasize that enough), all left are the sh**y bootlegs made by the Taiwanese (not being racist, but it's the truth) left. The money spent on them does NOT go to the original creators, and they are ILLEGAL to buy or sell (not to mention they are extremely low-quality, artwork wise and sound quality wise. Bootlegged CDs are extremely cheap. Usually, you will feel ripped off, because for the $30, the CD gets "worn down" in about a month. You can restore the CDs by reburning them (it's legal, right??), but you have to have a damn good CD burning drive.

Please don't act like a fool and come down from your high horse. It was an missunderstanding from Amazon.jp, they have canceled all the orders from some VGM-Collectors and mine. But I've managed to get my copy 2nd hand from an gameshop in the akihabara district for 5.000 Yen without shipping and service costs.

And don't make me laugh... you want to lecture people here? Calm down, I'm sure some people are a lot more experienced as you may think. Someone postet the Chudah's Corner Link, right? Let's check their Links-Section for some really good advices about buying VGM.

Just for the note, I didn't mention I am god, or that I know it all, I just was answering questions (as everyone can notice)

Not lecturing people. Just answering questions people were asking without double posting. Sorry for using the same post to answer other questions.

Calm down

Does it not look like I'm calm? I'm highliting important points. Like I mentioned. I always wanted to write a point on bootlegs, but I never wanted to start a whole new thread based on the warnings on bootlegs.

I'm sure some people are a lot more experienced as you may think.

I never called anyone stupid. I never said anyone was unexperienced. I never did any of that. I was just answering the previous questions above. You, sir, are too easily offended.

Please do not get offended. I didn't intend to cause any offense (if I did, you would see some racial slurs & curse words ((besides sh*tty)) involved).

Re:Sonic OST's Here - 2008/05/15 20:19 The truth of the matter is that people are always going to be fooled by cheap knockoffs - we're lucky in that we can tell the difference, but many people can't. It's like trying to tell the difference between black market bags and proper bags - i couldn't tell the difference, but other people sure as heck could!

Re:Sonic OST's Here - 2008/09/04 16:01 I got mine some time ago, they are the real deal:

Sonic Adventure 2 Cuts Unleashed - $37 NEW
http://www.synsoniq.de/productdetails.php?pid=305&&langchange=2

I repeat it: Yes, it's new.

Edit: You can get there the US-OST from Sonic Heroes, they have some left.
