Re:Showcase thread - 2008/11/15 05:37 Sry, I'm slightly ADD when it comes to Music Production. I work with drum kits and electronic instruments... I would love to hear them all, I only heard 2 because my internet is being evil...

Really, I thought that they were done in 1 take, like with a band, it really does not have that trademark electronic sample drum sound, which is good in the sense of when it comes to rock music; and the instrumentation seems to have some sort of delay, which makes them sound live. Are the samples of acoustic drums?

Re:Showcase thread - 2008/11/15 20:12 Well, I'd really like to have an answer to your question, but unfortunately Guitar Pro only shows the name of the sample, where both, for example, "acoustic snare" and "electric snare" can be found. In 2-nd track i used electric snare. But it's necessary to mention that i didn't really bother doing the drums. And it can be clearly seen in that track, 'cause the same pattern is repeated almost all the way.
And what to other tracks, you'll probably be disappointed - they don't have any drums at all. There is no need.

I love a lot of drum-free music, but it's not the drums that fascinate me, it's the electronic sample quality that is so high. It's bedazzling.

I haven't listened to the other ones, because I cannot download them for some reason. I'm using the XP, so maybe I'll be able to get something, when I'm using my Vista, it's very problematic...
