Woohoo! Liking the new style. Couldn't get the reference unfortunatly, but it sounded good anyway. Checked out your MySpace too, kept repeating your final solo. Awesome!
edit: on an unrelated note, your profile picture on your MySpace always appeared to me like you were kneeling playing in the sand, when it used to be your JS forum icon. You have destroyed my imagination by uploading what it really is =p

What can I say I was a huge Bruce Lee fan when I was young. Speaking of which, "House of Pine Waves" is a rough translation of the word Shotokan, the karate style I used to do.

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/03/09 22:17Here is my most recent remix. It is a synth pop remake of Sky Chase Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. As you Sonic fans can tell, it's much slower than the original. I made it that way because the slowy-ness adds a whole new layer of atmosphere to the song. And, knowing me, Atmosphere is good. The bass line is awesome, and the screechy synths blending in with the main melody line, and the fake-out guitar synth make the song even easier to listen to. Many of you might find this song boring and long, and hard to listen to, but some might love it. It's only depend on if you like synth pop or not.

We've recorded two acoustic covers at the moment. Time Of Your Life by Green Day and So Beautiful by Pete Murray. We've got 5 songs, we're just working on the lyrics, and getting the necesary equipment to record decently lol. This was done with a webcam microphone.

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/06 06:31This remix was my most diffucult one! I spent a month concealing this "secret project" from my friends. This post is going to be very long, but it will answer all questions.
What does the "for FREMONT" mean? Fremont CA was the town I grew up in, just about 30 minutes from SF. I named the remix name "for FREMONT" because I was looking through an album of all my childhood memories when I was finishing up the remix. *sniff*
Where are the "go" vocals from? That's actually me talking! Neither high or low "go" voice is my natural voice though. I sampled them from one of my home movies of my friends and I hanging out in Fremont.
Anyway, here it is, I have been waiting forever to finish this remix.

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/06 18:55Nice remix you did there. Though I got to admit, it's kinda annoying having to hear "go!" Then again my hearing is getting to be a little to sensitive for my liking or maybe it's just ear fatigue. But I like it.www.myspace.com/angelidia

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/07 22:07Um, okay, the "go" part was just plain weird. But it was pretty catchy. ROCK ON!!!!! *Plays awsomely insane guitar solo*

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/08 06:49Another one! One of my earliest songs (you can tell ). It is called TRIBE MOODS. Well, you see, as the name implies, the song is a nice tribal track that truly defines the power I have in the on-synth area. No synths, at all were used on this song, and all instruments are percussion. I also made the vocal samples, the "Groove Baby" and the "Oh" things that are in 1/12 sequence. If you don't like tribal or early songs from people, then this is not for you!
I know many of you have heard my famous '16-bit' on the 16-bit music thread. Well here are the steps for it if you liked it. They are the steps minus the crappy video I made. Enjoy!

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/13 23:24I like the three of them ^^. Though I found the first one a bit repetitive (is that a word, right?). I only recognized the last one... are the other original tunes?
I'm glad you didn't upload on SoA page... JUST because it won't work for me... so I couldn't listen to your past songs.Juntube: Epic Win!

Re:Showcase thread - 2007/04/14 04:55Iris: I have uploaded everything that was on SoA's site on Putfile. It would be too many links to post them all on this board, so I'll post a link to my profile with all my songs on it
All of my songs are located here. Check frequently for new things.
