What do I do if I do own bootlegged CDs? I don't want to throw them away. Is there some way I can exchange them for the real ones?

Is it legal to keep them in your possession? I only have two Japanese game soundtracks out of fifteen that are real! That is scary!

Well basically, instead of the royalties going to the artist, it goes to the greedy little sods who bootleg these things. There's no way you can exchange it for the real thing for the reason that it is out-of-print. It's merely bad luck. I don't think it's illegal for you because you didn't know about it. Your best bet it to avoid ALL Ever-anime and SonMay products in the future.

If you need to check if the CD is real - confirm the catalogue number with that of Chudahs Corner @ http://www.chudahs-corner.com

For example the catelogue number for the SA1 OST is MJCA-00034 - different to the Ever-anime/SonMay product. Always check the cat.no - that will tell you if it's bootleg or not.

Personally I don't like bootlegs with the rare exception of unavailable products (like a concert or something) - but that's not the discussion here. Hope that helps. Let's go back on topic.

Re:from Jun 0107, 2007 - 2007/01/17 05:59 EP is the abbreviation for extended play - goes back to the days when you had LPs. It's basically a cross between an album and a single - it's not quite an album in the sense that it doesn't have as much songs on it. It's like a single - singles usually have an A-side and a couple of B-sides.

The JxJ EP has 6 cracking songs.
