Windows Movie Maker - 2008/11/05 22:09 Ok I know this is totally irrelevant but this is really making me mad. I made this really cool new video for my youtube account (sonicvortex99). I'm pretty famous for the Sonic videos on there too. This is by far my best video that I've ever made but...I can't convert the file, burn it to a CD, or put it in any other form.

I get this message when I try to convert it:

The burning could not be completed succesfull. Please verify that the source files in your movie are still available, that there is enough space on the disk, and that there is enough free space on the drive [/color]then try again.

That will come up when the process is halfway done.
Everything has been verified and I can't find anything wrong with the file or the video. This is really irritating too.

Putting it to a jumpdrive won't do either since the program is a file-sync process. So if I moved it to another computer, it wouldn't play because it doesn't consist of the same files.

PLEASE HELP!

Re:Windows Movie Maker - 2008/11/06 22:02 This is really tricky, as this has happened to me w/ media player.

The problem can be a whole range of things, something as small as the file being misplaced, or the drive might be old and worn out.

When it happened to me, it was because my disc drive's connection was loose to the power supply.

Moviemaker is a really diffucult software to deal with. It has some serious anger issues. Sometimes the hard disk shifts, and the file size increases/decreases slightly. Moviemaker will not accept that file, and it will render it as corrupted. It can also do this if it's having a bad day, or if the computer's power supply is too hot (in that case, none of your drives should work, beside the hard disk, the RAM, and the ROM).

It could also be a problem with your burning drive. The ones that are the default factory drive in the computer are really weak. The best ones are the ones that are bought and implemented.

Another problem could be the hard drive is compressed. Compression is really bad, as it frags the files to make them smaller. Never compress the hard drive, always keep it at it's normal size.

Well, I know the burner is okay, I've checked that part. Is there anyway I can fix the fie size if it's increased or decreased?
And this stuff about compression, haven't heard that one yet, I'll see if I can look into it.
Thanks so much for help. I deeply appreciate it! ^^
